"Can I take your photo?"
I am already feeling at home in my first few days here. East Africans are welcoming, comical, warm, and almost always manage to wear a smile no matter what their situation in life.
The South Sudanese have been through years of civil war and displacement. They lack clean water, health care and educational opportunities, yet are optimistic about the future and content with the little they have.
